Antananarivo - Andasibe (Perinet) - Anjajavy

     DAY 1 In the evening arrival in Antananarivo (Tana)- the capital of Madagascar.
Tana is built on two ridges which combine in a V letter. This hilly area is full of contrasts. Red clay houses, steepled churches isolated on hilltops overlooking a mosaic of green and brown paddy fields, winding streets and numerous markets stand against modern office buildings, shops and traffic. From the right place, in the right light Antananarivo is one of the most atractive capitals in the developing world. In the evening sunshine it has the quality of child's picture book, with brightly coloured houses stacked up the hillsides, mauve jacarandas and purple bougainvillea against the dark blue of the winter sky.
Transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

     DAY 2 After the breakfast short city tour of Tana. Afterwards drive to Marozevo and visit to the famous exotic centre of Mr.Pereyras where one will see almost all the chameleon species of Madagascar, butterflies, lizards, snakes, bats and other interesting animals. Then continuation to Andasibe.
Overnight and dinner at the lodge.

     DAY 3 After the breakfast drive to the Andasibe National Park (Perinet), the only place where one can find the largest of the lemur family, the mythical Indri Indri. There are various legends about the Indiri, one of which links the lemur to the origin of man.
Trekking in the block of moist mountain forest is exeptionally rewarding for its variety of other species of lemurs, birds, reptiles (chameleons), and invertebrates and - some experts say - a higher number of frog species than any comparable rainforest on the Earth. For nature lovers the park offers colourful orchides, ferns and much more plants typical for this region.
Before dinner night walk to watch the nocturnal lemurs. Walking through the forest at daybreake, as the siren-like calls of Indiri emanate from the mist enshrouded canopy, is one of the most memorable experiences one can have in Madagascar.
Overnight and dinner at the lodge.

     DAY 4 Breakfast at the hotel. And drive back to Antananarivo. Transfer to the airport and flight to Anjajavy. Transfer to the hotel.

     DAYS 5-8 Anjajavy Hotel - time at leisure on the beach, excursions (walking trials, 4x4, bike and boat trips), water sports: windsurfing, snorkelling, canoeing, water skiing, land sports: volleyball, mountain bike, billard, pétanque, badminton.
This luxury hotel really does have it all: isolation, coral reefs, tsingy-like limestone outcrops, pristine beaches, extensive mangrove forest, a dramatic bat-filled cave, a private reserve bustling with birds and lemurs, sifakas gambolling on the villa roofs… not to mention total comfort, brilliant service and superb food!

     DAY 9 In the afternoon flight to Antananarivo and late in the evening departure for Europe.

Sports and activities available in Anjajavy:
1. Free of charge: water skiing, canoe, catamaran, windsurfing, snorkeling, badminton, table tennis, snooker, volley ball, petanque.
2. Mountain bike excursions with a guide - half day with picnic - EUR 30.50 per person (min. 2 pax max 8 pax)
3. 4 x 4 excursions - half day with picnic - EUR 30.50 per person (min 2 pax max 8 pax)
4. Boat outing - half day with picnic - EUR 30.50 per person (min. 4 pax max 6 pax)
5. Mountain bike rental - EUR 5 per person per day (package 7 days - EUR 30.50).
6. Asencional parachute - EUR 15.50 per person / 15 minutes
7. Big game fishing - EUR 457.50 per boat half day OR EUR 610 per boat full day
